CILAN FOR CLIENTS AND FAMILIES

Understand your next step.
Stay connected along the way.

Bring your support request, preparation tasks, funding progress, and case-team updates together in one private client workspace.

Client signup and sign in
Requesting support does not guarantee funding, representation, or a government decision.

Keep the important parts together.

A long process is easier to follow when you can see who is helping, what has changed, and what to do next.

Prepare a thoughtful request

Describe the help you need privately. Complete assigned factual worksheets, flag questions you do not know, and provide requested documents for review.

Know your serving attorney

Review an approved proposal, make your own selection, and see the attorney serving your authorized matter after acceptance.

Follow tasks and updates

See urgency, client-visible tasks, your case team’s notes, interview details, and the separate progress of your campaign.

Ask for language support

Use English or Spanish navigation. Request a Spanish-speaking attorney, spoken interpretation, or help with document translation.

Control what is shared

Keep private intake apart from public campaign stories. Review your sharing choices and consent before information is made public.

Find a suitable local notary

When notarization is required, search verified service areas and languages, choose an eligible Partner, and review the separate service quote.

What joining involves.

  1. 1

Create your client account when registration opens and tell us your communication preferences.

  2. 2

Submit a private support request and choose whether to share a fundraising story.

  3. 3

Complete CILAN’s in-office or Zoom verification interview and any requested preparation.

  4. 4

Review proposed services, follow your funding, and stay in touch through your private workspace.

A CILAN verification interview is separate from a government interview. A completed worksheet is preparation for review; it is not an official filing. Your attorney or authorized representative confirms the form, evidence, signatures, and filing route.
