WHAT CILAN DOES — AND HOW THIS SITE HELPS

A place to understand your options and find a next step.

California Immigration Legal Access Network is a nonprofit created to improve immigrants’ access to education, authorized professionals, and help with service costs. This site connects families’ needs with people and businesses who want to support them.

RESOURCES AVAILABLE

Understand where to start

Find general immigration information, links to official forms, and resources for finding legal help. Our guidance does not require registration.

NETWORK IN DEVELOPMENT

Connect with authorized help

CILAN is building a professional network. For an urgent need, use the official directories directly and ask providers about their services and availability.

PROGRAM IN PREPARATION

Apply for help with costs

The portal is designed for private requests, needs review, and assistance with approved costs. Real registration will open when the supporting services are ready.

Understand how to seek help

Already in the United States?

People and families already in the United States are our current development priority. Immigration detention, family separation, and the cost of immigration services are central to this effort.

Have loved ones in another country?

We also plan to develop education and referral partnerships for people abroad. Countries, partners, and available services will be announced as that work develops.

General guidance is available today. Case acceptance, representation, and financial assistance depend on review and availability. Immigration outcomes are not promised.

LOCAL BUSINESSES. SHARED SUPPORT.

Your business can help a family move forward.

A taco shop, store, salon, office, or company can be part of this goal. Let’s design a partnership that is clear for your business and your customers.

Optional roundups

At the register

Plan a checkout option that lets each customer choose whether to add a small donation.

A sale with purpose

Consider a fixed contribution from every eligible taco or other designated item sold.

The way forward

Good intentions.
A thoughtful process.

From the first request to the next service milestone, every step is designed to make support understandable and personal.

See how it works
01

A person asks for support

A private request helps CILAN understand the need. A separate, optional public story gives the community a way to connect.

02

CILAN reviews the path and cost

An approved service quote sets the campaign goal. Only the story approved for sharing becomes public.

03

The community helps move it forward

Contribute to one campaign, a group, or the community pool. Follow allocations and service milestones in your portal.

Know where your support goes

Every contribution.
A clearer picture.

Your contribution supports client services and the work that makes those services possible. The split and any processing fee are shown before you give and recorded with your contribution.

Understand your impact
Illustrative amount after fees$100
Client services$80
