Authorized legal access
Help connect families with appropriately authorized professionals and reviewed assistance toward eligible service costs as program funding becomes available.
CILAN is preparing a $5 million campaign to strengthen access to authorized immigration guidance and reviewed support for families affected by immigration detention and separation.
Our campaign goal
One shared goal. Many families whose next step matters.
This is a fundraising target, not a reported amount raised. No payment is collected on this page.
When a family is affected by detention, uncertainty reaches far beyond one person. The campaign’s planned purpose connects legal access, preparation, and family support under a reviewed program.
Help connect families with appropriately authorized professionals and reviewed assistance toward eligible service costs as program funding becomes available.
Support understandable education, organized information, and preparation for a conversation with a qualified professional. Individual needs guide the next step.
Assess family-support needs and coordinate appropriate assistance or referrals within the approved program. Available support depends on review, resources, and program capacity.
Fund responsible intake, review, recordkeeping, outreach, and program operations. The use of funds, contribution split, and fees will be disclosed before giving opens.
This campaign does not promise representation, release from detention, a direct payment to an individual, or a particular immigration outcome. Each request requires an appropriate review.
The immediate campaign focus is people already in the U.S., including families navigating detention-related disruption, immigration questions, and barriers to qualified assistance.
Explore guidance and next stepsCILAN also intends to develop appropriate guidance and assistance for people outside the U.S. This is a future phase. International services, locations, eligibility, and launch dates have not been established here.
Future scope will be announced when it is ready.A checkout counter. A taco special. A community event. Explore an idea your business could bring to CILAN, then agree on the details before announcing or collecting anything.
Invite customers to add an optional round-up to a purchase, with a clearly explained destination and campaign period.
Choose a product and a fixed contribution per eligible item sold. A taco, a coffee, or another designated item can carry the idea.
Propose a percentage of a clearly defined sales base. Identify the products, dates, exclusions, and any maximum contribution.
Set a matching rate for eligible contributions during an agreed period, with a cap your company is comfortable discussing.
Plan an event with a stated contribution per eligible ticket or attendee. Keep event costs and the amount for CILAN distinct.
Confirm the contribution rate, the exact eligible sales or donation base, start and end dates, exclusions, any cap, and how funds will reach CILAN. Distinguish a customer’s optional contribution from money the business contributes. Before launch, CILAN and the business must confirm participation, public wording, and which fundraising registration, reporting, and disclosure requirements apply. This page does not authorize collections or promise a tax deduction.
Try different assumptions and see the arithmetic. This calculator does not record a pledge, add to the campaign total, or collect money.
Assumption: each entered unit qualifies for the stated contribution. The count covers one proposed campaign period.
500 × $1.00 = $500.00
For scale: 10,000 contributions of this size would reach the goal. This is arithmetic, not a forecast or a count of participating businesses.
All results are before any payment fees and do not represent funds received or the amount assigned to a family. For matching examples, the goal comparison uses the business match alone. Final contribution terms and CILAN’s allocation policy must be agreed before participation.
The email link prepares a draft in your mail app. Nothing is sent automatically.
Whether you need guidance for your family or want to discuss a business fundraiser, start with a general conversation. Keep private case details out of public messages.
A general inquiry helps identify the right conversation. Sending an email does not create a case, a pledge, or a partnership.
CILAN reviews the appropriate path, the available capacity, and the written terms needed before a program or fundraiser begins.
Approved next steps and future campaign updates will explain what is available, what funding supports, and how progress is reported.
Not yet. The $5 million campaign is in preparation. This page does not collect payments. Final program details, contribution terms, fees, and payment arrangements must be ready before giving opens.
No. It is the campaign’s target. No amount raised, donor count, or completed service total is being claimed on this page. Public totals should be based on verified records when the campaign opens.
No. Assistance depends on review, professional authorization, available resources, and program capacity. The campaign does not guarantee representation, release from detention, an immigration decision, or a direct payment to a family.
Start by discussing the idea with CILAN. Agree on participation, exact contribution terms, dates, the collection process, and public wording before announcing a campaign. The examples and calculator are planning tools and do not enroll your business.
International assistance is a planned future phase, not an operating program represented here. The immediate priority is people and families currently in the U.S.
